At Elevation Presbyterian Church, we are committed to making a difference in our community. We believe that serving others is an essential part of our faith, and we work hard to live out that belief in tangible ways.
One of the ways we have done this is by opening our doors as a warming shelter during the winter for people without housing in a time of crisis. We understand that many in our community are struggling on many levels and we want to do what we can to help.
In addition, we offer a free shower program to those in need. We believe that access to basic hygiene is a fundamental right, and we want to help our community members maintain their dignity and well-being.
We are also proud to support PALS, a licensed after-school and summer program for children 5 to 9 years old who are combating trauma or instability in their home lives. By supporting the PALS program, we provide a space for a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
At Elevation Alamosa Presbyterian Church, we believe that giving back to our community is a responsibility that we all share. That's why we volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, participate in the Crop Walk, and take an active role in community leadership and activism.
